Hi, I’m Amanda — the founder of Sunset Snuggles.

I started Sunset Snuggles in 2020 because I wanted something I couldn't get, so I created it.  

A bit of backstory, at the time I was raising two toddlers while working full-time as a CFO from my home office.  The days were long and by sunset all I wanted to do is snuggle my kids to sleep and have a cozy, comfortable night.

To help with the nightly wind-down, I splurged on a leopard blanket that my favourite influencers all raved about... and it was so soft and buttery but it was too small and it was cost prohibitive at nearly $300!

I became obsessed with designing the perfect cozy blanket, it's all I could think about as I snuggled my daughter to sleep every night - hence the name "Sunset Snuggles".

My goal at launch was a better blanket for a lower price. I launched with an "Extended Throw" that was sized to fully fit my 6'3" husband and knit from a thicker, longer fibre  yarn so my brand would have the most plush blankets around. 

When the first samples arrived, my family immediately claimed them for themselves… which is when I knew I might be onto something.

What started as one blanket design has now grown into a full collection of cozy essentials; from our wildly popular minky blankets to children's blankets to robes and pajamas designed for slow mornings, movie nights, and everyday comfort.

Sunset Snuggles is still a small, founder-led brand, and every product is something my family loves and uses daily in our home and is proud to share with our community.

My hope is that when you wrap yourself in one of our pieces, you get that same feeling I was searching for from the beginning... the moment when the day slows down and you finally get to relax.
